Education and Experience

 

My major in college was Education and Methods of Teaching Piano. I have studied pedagogy, psychology, physiology and the history of teaching methods in musical education. After getting my B.M. I was given the piano teacher position of the Music school at Kiev State University. I received my M.A and became a founder of the "New Children's Music School" in Kiev, Ukraine, where I supervised methodological work and organized the curriculum, as well as taught Piano until I and my family moved to the USA. Since that time, I am teaching piano in the Bay Area.

I am Member of Music Teacher Association of California. My students participate in the Certificate of Merit program and each year some of them take part in the Honor Recital. Few of my students won prestigious prizes in the United State Open music competition. My former students already have students of their own.

Siblings are following to the footsteps of their older brothers and sisters to become a part of the continues celebration of music.

During the annual recital and during important competitions, the young pupils always rose to the occasion, having overcome their stage fright, they always performed to the best of their abilities and asked through tears of happiness when the next concert would be.

Last two years due to covid pandemic, there were impossible to do Recital. Students recorded their pieces and Virtual Recital 2020 and 2021 appeared in the You Tube. All student performed. It was the real celebration of loving and enjoying music.
